Dale W. Freudenberger, a resident of Tamaqua, Schuylkill County, was hired in January 2002 as the Corridor Market Towns Manager for the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor. Dale is a 1977 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School. He has spent more than 30 years preserving and promoting the history of the region, promoting heritage tourism development, and working towards downtown and community revitalization both professionally and as a volunteer. He has assisted communities with planning and visioning, fundraising, façade and streetscape design, grant writing, retail sales, historic preservation, restoration, marketing, promotions, economic restructuring, and other related fields. Dale has worked with communities in Schuylkill, Berks, Montgomery, Lebanon, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, and Luzerne Counties over his career. Prior to joining the D&L staff, Dale served as a Legislative Aide to State Representative David G. Argall (124th), a retail sales associate for Boscov’s Department Store, Director of Passenger Service for the Reading and Northern Railroad, and as a manufacturing supervisor for J.E.Morgan Knitting Mills.
