Gary currently lives in Slatington, PA, is married with three children and six grandchildren.
He is a past president of the CLIU 21 Board of School Directors and the Northern Lehigh School Board and currently president of the Slatington Rotary and vice president of Northern Lehigh Future Focus.
Gary is involved and has also been a board member for various organizations including LCTI, Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union, Hill Street Day Care Center, Northern Lehigh Community Center, Northern Lehigh Downtown Revitalization Committee, Venture Group, Northern Lehigh Education Foundation, National Education Association, and the PA State Education Association.
He is a Commissioner on the PA Standards & Practice Commission, a founding member the Bridge Club in Slatington, a past member of Church Council, a member of the Lehigh County Community Justice Panel and a member of the Slatington Lodge F&AM #440.
