The portion of trail between Ground Hog Lock and Theodore Roosevelt Recreation Area is open to use, but the southern portion remains under construction for flood repairs. This 14.9-mile section follows the towpath between Groundhog Lock and Tinicum Park. Bikers and walkers will find it ideal. The towpath falls within Delaware Canal State Park.
