The Basics: This section offers views of the Lehigh River, shady pull offs, and glimpses of historic ruins. It is part of 26 miles of uninterrupted rail-trail through Lehigh Gorge State Park, which extends from White Haven to Glen Onoko.
The Details: The entire length of Lehigh Gorge is ideal for walking and off road biking. The surface is rolled cinder. The section of trail between Glen Onoko and downtown Historic Jim Thorpe is now open, so trail users can now make direct trips from Rockport into Jim Thorpe!
