The Alexander Benjamin House Country Lodging and Breakfast was built circa 1880 but provides the accommodations of the 21st century. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway, a cozy overnight, or an exciting weekend on the ski slopes. We are located minutes from Blue Mountain Ski Resort, Hawk Mountain Bird Sanctuary, and the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail.
Located right outside of both historic Jim Thorpe and Palmerton, centrally located between Tamaqua and Allentown in lovely Schuylkill County, you can do what your heart desires. We are central to skiing, hiking, fly fishing, bird watching, golfing, mountain biking, touring the vineyards and wineries, swimming, shopping, or sit on our porch, enjoy some lemonade, read and just relax.
