Arts YOUniverse was created to fulfill an artistic hunger. Wyoming Valley can boast many outstanding local artists, poets, sculptors, dancers, potters, musicians and actors, but one must travel throughout the area to enjoy each of these fine arts - sometimes at considerable cost and travel time. Bringing all of the fine arts together under one roof seemed logical. Shopping for the best artistic experience should be as easy (and as much fun) as shopping for the best shoes, or freshest groceries. Arts YOUniverse makes the artistic experience accessible and affordable to the general public at every age and experience level. Thirty years ago the drive-thru concept was considered revolutionary. Today it is expected. Thirty years from now, experiencing the arts will be an expected part of a person’s day. Arts YOUniverse brings all of the arts together under one roof in an attempt to make that dream a reality.
