Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve showcases an extraordinary diversity of plants native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley region. The Preserve focuses exclusively on native plants, as distinguished from botanical gardens that may include natives in their collections. The Preserve cares for and protects the native plant collection with the goal of encouraging the public to visit, enjoy and learn about the richness of Pennsylvania’s natural heritage, so they, in turn, also will become stewards of the natural world. The Preserve is an accredited member of the American Association of Museums, signifying that it operates according to the highest standards set forth by the profession and provide quality service to the public.
