Cedar Creek Parkway West offers a variety of recreation opportunities. The section west of Cedarbrook Road contains extensive wetlands along Cedar Creek. A trail has been cut through the western end of the wetlands. Recreation facilities in this area include a baseball field, four softball fields, two little league fields, soccer fields, three tennis courts and a small basketball court. More soccer fields are being added north of Walnut Street. There is a picnic area near Cedarbrook Road.
