The Jim Thorpe Trailhead, also known as the “D&L Trailhead at Carbon County,” provides access from downtown Historic Jim Thorpe to Lehigh Gorge State Park via the Nesquehoning Trestle. Historic Jim Thorpe offers trail users numerous restaurants, taverns, shops, bed and breakfasts, and museums, so be sure to drop into town before or after your D&L Trail excursion.
The trailhead is located under the Rt. 903 Bridge, at the northern end of the Jim Thorpe municipal parking lot. There are no restroom facilities at this trailhead.
