The first church building was erected in 1844 by a new congregation sympathetic to the views of the Evangelical Church Association. The second (and current) church building was erected in 1853, and was later known as Snyder�s Evangelical Church into the 1930s. The building was later used by other congregations, but mostly stood vacant. The Little White Church was restored by the Palmerton Area Historical Society in the 1990s.
