Nazareth Borough was incorporated as a borough in 1858. An inviting, progressive community, Nazareth maintains its heritage, as evidenced by its inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. It is the home of the Mario Andretti racing family. The Martin Guitar Company has a long and vital legacy within the community of Nazareth. The original Martin homestead, next to the original North Street factory, now houses the Nazareth Visitor Center and Chamber of Commerce.
