Noble’s Blacksmith Shop and Mining Museum

Noble Henninger was one of the last blacksmiths in Panther Valley.  He handled the shoeing of mine mules, sharpened and repaired miners picks, drills, axes and other tools, maintained couplings for cables and cages that lowered men into the mines and handled any job that involved repairing or sharpening metal. The shop was built in 1927 and reflects the tools and machines in-use at that time.
