The Old Waterworks, built in 1762, is considered the oldest pumped water system in the country. Today self-guided walking tours are available of the Bethlehem Colonial Industrial Quarter that includes the waterworks and the 1761 Tannery.
The site is available for a self guided tour. Please contact the Visitor Center at 610-691-6055 or 1-800-360-8687 for group tours and more information Thursday to Sunday 12noon to 4pm.
