The Slatington trailhead is currently under construction for improvements, including designated parking,a pavilion, and space for events. The Slate Heritage Trail, which follows Trout Creek to the west and out of town, intersects the D&L Trail at this trailhead. The trailhead is located within short walking distance of convenience stores, for drinks and snacks, and directly across the street from a pizza shop.
There are no restroom facilities at this trailhead.
