A restored 1829 Locktender’s House with period furnishings of the early 19th century. There are canal locks, a four-and-one-half-mile towpath, picnic areas and watered canal where you can fish and enjoy nature.
The Annual Canal Festival is held on the 3rd Sunday of October with a Haunted Woods the Friday and Saturday before, and a Towpath Trot also on Saturday.
