Wells Ferry Boat Rides

Location
New Hope

In 1718, King George I granted John Wells, the founder of New Hope, a license to operate the first ferry, known as “Wells Ferry”.  Wells Ferry Boat Rides is located behind the The Landing Restaurant, on Main Street in the heart of New Hope.  We welcome all groups and organizations from school field trips, day care and camps, to retirement villages.  We pride ourselves in making your outing pleasurable and affordable.  Our scenic, narrated tour on the Delaware River will give you a little history and a glimpse of New Hope’s varied architecture.  It also gives us the opportunity to share this beautiful river with you!  Ride in comfort and savor the gentle breeze on the slick 38 foot “STAR OF NEW HOPE”.  From a view of Wells Dam and Bowman’s Tower to the picturesque sights above Route 202, we make your ride special!
