The D&L Trail Patrol is a group of volunteers who regularly walk or bike the trail to provide information and basic services to trail users and report trail conditions to the D&L staff.

Trail Tenders are dedicated men, women and youths who maintain and enhance the D&L Trail in Northampton, Lehigh, Carbon and Luzerne counties. Organized into four chapters – Easton, Lehigh Valley, Northern Lehigh and Carbon/Lehigh Gorge – Trail Tenders have a variety of responsibilities.
